Rebecca Berke is a Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness Specialist who has spent decades working with the mind/body connection. Her early study of ballet, and later her professional dance experience and teaching, led to her interest and awareness of the connection of how one’s desire to achieve greatly influences the actual realization of one’s goals. After attending the University of Utah, majoring in Ballet, Rebecca opened a ballet school and pre-professional dance company, which she directed for over 25 years.  Life transitions and opportunities led to further education for Rebecca to help people release negative thinking patterns and move them towards living their best lives. Rebecca was trained as a leader of Stanford’s Healthier Living Workshops for people with chronic disease or illness in 2005, which led to her becoming a Board Certified Hypnotherapist, the study of mindfulness and becoming a health educator at Kaiser Permanente.

Rebecca works with weight management, smoking cessation, and a variety of habit control issues. She holds mindfulness training and stress management classes and workshops. She is a Certified HypnoBirthing® practitioner and has certifications in Performance Anxiety, Habit Control and Transformational Coaching. Rebecca is committed and passionate about giving students and clients the knowledge and tools to own their own power, feel happier and more in control, and to actualize their life expression wholly and completely.

Rebecca enjoys teaching part time for the Diablo Ballet Professional Training Program at Community Arts. She also loves family activities, learning, reading, yoga and her grandchildren!
