Comprehensive Wellness is pleased to announce that Bess Inzeo, MA, PPS will be joining our practice this month. Bess is a counselor and child wellness advocate for children ages 3-12 years old. She has been an educator for more than 20 years. She creatively teaches social skills, how to manage anxiety, and coping strategies for the home and school environments.

Dr. Allyson Mayo is a Doctor of Behavioral Health and an industry expert educating on how to prescribe Lifestyle Medicine to the root causes of maladaptive behaviors. Through a revolutionary approach of Behavioral Fitness, Dr. Mayo brings us all a much needed new approach to mental health. A professor at USF and county mental health representative, she is helping our communities become behaviorally fit.

Comprehensive Wellness is pleased to announce that Alan Brast, PhD, CCHT, NLP, will be joining our practice on May 1, 2019. Dr. Brast has been a healthcare professional for over four decades. His primary areas of expertise include suicidology, medical hypnotherapy/analysis, grief and emotional trauma counseling for suicidal ideation, rape, emotional and physical abuse, dread disease anxiety, phobia disorders and other areas of medical/psychological trauma. He has expertise in crisis management and facilitates hospital support groups for cancer patients.

Anne McEntee is a Registered Nurse and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She completed Duke Integrative Medicine’s Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program. Anne enjoys working with individual clients to help them prevent or manage chronic health issues.

Sahar Berjis, RD, MPH
Sahar Berjis is a licensed Registered Dietitian with 17 years of experience in traditional and functional nutrition. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, and earned her Dietetic License and Masters in Public Health from Tulane University.

Jason Fung, MD
Born and raised in Hayward, Dr. Jason Fung is an alumnus of Head-Royce School in Oakland, Yale University, and the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his medical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his dermatology residency training at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Fung returned to the East Bay in 2004 and has been in private practice ever since.

Rebecca Parish, MD, and Brett Beaver, LMFT, were guests of the California State Bar Association today where they spoke about how to combat the aging process and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Kulwinder Singh will be joining the team at Comprehensive Wellness in September 2018.
Dr. Kulwinder Singh is dedicated to providing much needed psychiatric care to seniors (age 50 and above) in the community. He is board-certified both in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry—providing psychiatric services to treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric illness in seniors with special interest in cognitive disorders (dementia), mood disorder, anxiety disorder and psychotic disorders. He has extensive experience in practicing outpatient and inpatient psychiatry in a variety of settings that include nursing homes both in the private and public sector.
Dr. Singh operates an independent practice within Comprehensive Wellness as Psychiatric Care for Seniors in order to allow him to accept Medicare and other major commercial health insurances.
