Dr. Richard Kamrath is board-certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He has over 35 years of experience and specializes in the treatment of obesity, weight management, and osteoporosis – as well as other conditions associated with hypertension and high cholesterol. While not a naturopath, he is knowledgeable about many alternative medical approaches.
Patients value his straight-forward approach, willingness to listen, and ability to explain medical findings and recommendations in an approachable and understandable manner. His goal is to work together to create a lifestyle and treatment plan that optimizes patient health and well-being.
Dr. Kamrath is passionate about spending time with his four grandchildren and wife Kathryn. He is also an avid Peloton fan and enjoys walking the Lafayette Reservoir and annual vacations to France/Italy (in the pre-COVID-19 days).
