Certified Nurse Practitioner

Kate Westbrook  is a Certified Nurse Practitioner in adult medicine, with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive care to women and men of all ages. She envisions her health care role as an expert and caring partner so that, as a team, she and her patients can successfully resolve both acute and long-term issues affecting both health and happiness. She values her personal connections with her patients, striving to provide the best care possible using the latest research, while remaining guided by her patients’ wishes and individual circumstances. 

Kate received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from San Jose State University, and began her nursing career at Stanford University Hospital, working full time while pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner’s degree from UCSF. Upon graduation, she worked in primary and urgent care around the country until settling in the East Bay, providing primary care in the Walnut Creek Area for the last 20 years.
